I was very surprised today to discover how easily it was to locate yourself, or anyone else for that matter, online. With just a telephone number you can access a satellite photo of where that telephone number is based. Creeeeeeppyyyy.
I agree with you 100% on this subject matter. It is very creepy knowing that someone can just look your name up in the yellow pages and find out where you live. Not only the address, but they can look at your house from a satallite picture. I think this has to violate some kind of privacy issue. You are able to take that away from google and not allow people to look at your house but many people are unaware that this is even possible. If more people knew that it could be done I think a bigger deal would be made about it.
I am a junior at the University of Delaware, currently enrolled in BUAD477, Information Technology in Marketing. This blog will serve as a semester long class project as well as a guinea pig for my first blog. Let's see how much I learn, or you can learn from it!
